- I Would Describe Myself As I enjoy spending time with my family. I am a Christian lady, and expect to be treated with respect. I say what I mean and mean what I say. I guess that comes from my Southern up-bringing. I was born in Georgia and just moved here to Colorado Springs three months ago. I still have my Southern accent and don't expect I'll ever lose it. I am an avid reader and also a writer. I enjoy reading post-apocalyptic books, sci-fi, and intense mysteries. I have a calm, peaceful personality and do not want any drama in my life. I am a huge animal lover. I have two cats that I found in the back yard of my house in Georgia. Their names are Willa and Scooters. They have been with me for over 10 years and I love them dearly. They keep me sane! I enjoy traveling, but not alone. What is the point in seeing a beautiful sunset or sunrise if you don't have someone with which to share it?
